Our school is situated in the historic village of Kilconnell, Co. Galway approximately 14km outside of Ballinasloe.
We are a co-educational school with three mainstream teachers in the village of Kilconnell, County Galway.
We have three classrooms which are divided into Junior & Senior Infants and 1st, 2nd & 3rd class, and 4th-6th class.
We are lucky to have our own playground, pitch, garden, basketball court, tennis court, and PE hall.
We also have access to Kilconnell Community Centre for indoor training and the beautiful Kilconnell Community park and garden for nature walks and our Active School flag events.
We are within walking distance of our local church.
Our school promotes a caring ethos and respectful relationship between staff and pupils to ensure that children reach their full potential holistically. There is a positive and collaborative relationship with the parents of our pupils, who support the school in a very constructive manner.
The school also benefits greatly from the committed support of our dedicated Parents Association.

We the educational partners of St. Gabriel’s in accordance with the Christian ethos of our school undertake to promote a positive school environment that will prepare our pupils to take their place in society. We undertake to provide an education that will accommodate the needs of each child.
