Congratulations to the 15 pupils from the senior classroom who took part in the Le Chéile celebratory concert as part of the school’s choir, which took place on Saturday November 16th in the University of Galway. This concert was part of the Galway Tradfest and included the Music Generation Trad collective, (an orchestra of over 100 musicians) and the Galway School’s Choir together with some of Ireland's finest acts including Sharon Shannon, Beoga, Pauline Scanlon and Niall Mc Cabe.
We also got to have a late night snack in Supermacs followed by an ice cream treat from teacher.
This was an amazing experience for all involved. We had a wonderful evening and look forward to watching the recording of the event when it is aired on TG4 soon. We will keep you all posted!
